Who can attend Classes at Limitless studio?

If you are 16 years and over, you can attend any of our Intro courses and weekly classes. If you are under 16 and wish to attend our classes, please get your guardian to contact us as there is specific information we need to see if these classes will be right for you.

Apart from the above age restriction, everyone is welcome.

do I need to have certain amount of strength, dance experience and flexible to do any of the classes?

In short, the answer is no, you do not have to worry about or overthink this at all!

Everyone has different levels of fitness and some of the factors that can affect this are:

  • How much a person exercises and what kind of workout or sports they do.

  • What their occupation is (does it involve lots of standing/sitting at a desk etc.).

  • Previous injuries, Genetics, medical conditions and diet/lifestyle can certainly play a role.

No two people are the same and hence, it is incredibly unfair to compare yourself to others.

At Limitless, we cater to all fitness levels and backgrounds to help you become a better, healthier and a more confident version of yourself! Our classes are designed so that you can learn and progress at your own pace.

Consistency always helps and you will get 100% out of what you put into your classes.

do i need any prior experience to attend:

POLE & AERIALS

Because you are working with heights in Pole and Aerials classes, it is important to learn and be comfortable with your basics. To learn and be comfortable with the basics, you will need to attend our Intro to Pole/Aerials courses which will prepare you beautifully for our regular weekly classes where you can build on what you have learnt in your Intro course.

ACTIVE FLEX & DANCE CLASSES

You do not need any prior experience to attend Active flex or Dance classes (unless specified otherwise). These are walk in classes which you can book into using concession cards (including one off classes) or your memberships.

What do i need to bring/wear?

POLE:

  • Short shorts made fabric that you can move easily in (denim is not the best idea) and a singlet + sports bra (try to avoid anything with underwire)

  • All jewellery, watches etc from your hands, wrists as well as anklets must be removed.

  • Please make sure you do not have any zips, embellishments like rivets, buckles, buttons etc. on your clothing that can scratch the poles.

  • Try not to moisturise that day especially if it’s a greasy or oily moisturiser.

AERIALS:

  • Please make sure you do not have any zips, embellishments like rivets, buckles, buttons etc. on your clothing that can tear/catch on the fabric or hoop.

  • Leggings are a must (to prevent fabric burn) and a T-shirt or singlet is recommend.

  • All jewellery from hands, wrists, legs and neck must be removed.

  • Please make sure you pay close attention to the health and safety rules!

ACTIVE FLEX:

  • Active wear that you are able to move comfortably in. Ideally well fitted clothing that moves with you and that does not flop over your head if you bend down.

  • Bring a drink bottle and feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you wish.

DANCE:

  • Active wear that you are able to move in comfortably.

  • To wear heels or not to wear heels? The great thing about Urban Burlesque is that you can wear heels, dance in bare feet or dance in kicks if that is what you are comfortable in! The aim is to enjoy your class so please do not feel pressured to wear heels.

  • Knee pads are always a good idea to bring with you for floor work choreography.

  • Please remove your shoes when you enter the studio but if you are wearing shoes (kicks or heels) for a class, bring these in a carry bag (do not wear them in from the street).

is parking AVAILABLE at the studio?

YES! There is plenty of parking on site as well as on the road. If you are in during the weekend, please come a little bit earlier as there may not be as many car parks available due to the very popular and awesome Marua Road Café next door. And yes parking is free!

What happens if i book into a class but cannot make it in?

You may cancel your booking at no charge before the 12 hour cancellation period kicks in. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class, you will be charged for that lesson and the same goes if you do not turn up.

What do i need to do if I want to pause or cancel my membership?

Please email your request to info@limitlessstudio.co.nz so we can discuss the best option for you and process your request. Remember we need 7 days notice for pauses (maximum pause for 4 weeks per year) and 28 days notice for any cancellations.
